Can I really do this? Here is my story about how I walked away from a stable career and 10 years worth of work to focus on a passion.

My name is Emily Anne. I grew up in Oregon and pursued a career in Aerospace Engineering since I was 14 years old. I graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in December 2021 with my Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a focus in Astronautics and a minor in Applied Mathematics. To me, this was my key to success. And it was… for a while. I was successful until I realized that life is long and I have passions deeper than working to create weapons at my meager desk job.

Creating art is my peace offering to the world, where I can put down my pen and pick up a paintbrush. I paint to bring a smile to myself and the people around me. I hope that my art is a method for meditation and an opportunity to slow down and appreciate the world around us.
